TACOMA, WA — Four teenagers were injured in a drive-by shooting late Saturday night in Tacoma, and police are still working to track down a suspect. According to a news release from the Tacoma Police Department, the shooting took place around 5: 30 p.m. A car carrying five teenagers had stopped for a light at the intersection of S 56th and Yakima Avenue, when another vehicle pulled up alongside them, opened fire, and then sped away. The victims then drove themselves to St. Joseph's hospital for emergency medical treatment. Police have identified the victims as three girls, 15, 16 and 17, and one 17-year-old boy. An 18-year-old boy was also in the car at the time of the shooting, but was uninjured. Officers have interviewed the victims and investigated the site of the shooting, but have yet to make any arrests and have not publicly released a suspect description.
