Press release from Canton Public Schools: May 20, 2022 CANTON — Superintendent Derek Folan and Principal Jeffrey Sperling are pleased to announce that numerous Canton High School students were honored this week at the school's annual Scholastic Honors Night. The event, held Tuesday, May 17, served as a celebration of the academic excellence, service, leadership and character of CHS students. "So many of our students have excelled in the classroom; on the courts, fields, and stages; and in their chosen extra-curricular activities," Principal Sperling said. "We are honored to properly recognize these students for their many outstanding accomplishments." As part of the event, Principal Sperling announced the valedictorian and salutatorian for this year's graduating class. The valedictorian for the CHS Class of 2022 is Lauren Hernon, and the salutatorian for the CHS Class of 2022 is Suraj Ramanathan.
