Looking for an awesome family event- try BMX racing! Good for all ages and abilities, keeping up a healthy and active lifestyle. The Rapid City BMX Association, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the sport of BMX racing in the scenic Black Hills. We are a sanctioned race organization through USA BMX. Our season runs May through September with occasional dates in October depending on weather. In May we run only Monday nights, registration 530PM to 630PM racing to follow. From June through September we race on Monday and Wednesday nights, registration is 5:30pm to 6:30pm with racing to follow directly. Our Facebook page Rapid City BMX or group page Rapid City BMX FB Group is a great tool for finding our most current schedule and events. First time of racing is $1. With a current USABMX membership, the nightly races cost $8 per rider, per class, and $3 for Strider riders. On the front end of the season through pre-registration and the first month of racing we offer season passes discounting races significantly. Throughout the season we also offer punch cards to pre-pay a few races ahead. These are both great tools for families who have multiple individuals bringing the rider to the track.
