Apply Now!!!! Refuse to Waste LLC is a San Francisco based waste separation and compliance business. We support Hotels, Apartments, Restaurants and Commercial Properties by sorting their mixed waste. Proper separation will keep our clients in compliance with the City of San Francisco’s Large Generators Refuse Separation Ordinance. We are experiencing exponential growth as more businesses are in need of waste sorting services and we are ready to hire our next wave of waste sorters. This is a unique opportunity that does not require past experience with waste sorting however in order to qualify for this job you must be trust worthy, have a history of good attendance with previous employers, be able to start a shift as early as 4am and have availability to work on both Saturday and Sunday. Compensation: $19.50/hr. with the ability to make up to $20.50/hr. within 90 days Candidates must have flexibility with start times ranging between 3:30am and 4:30am Schedules created at least 2 weeks in advance 5 day shifts will be 30 - 35 hours per week for the first 4 weeks then approximately 40 hours per week 6 day shifts will be 35 - 44 hours per week Below are the job responsibilities: • Quickly separate recyclable and compostable material in accordance with the City of SF guidelines • Work Safely and look out for the safety of your team • Sort at least 1.25 cubic yards of mixed waste per hour independently • Allow flexibility with schedule changes and be available for OT on any day necessary OT is not regularly scheduled so we require flexibility with the end time of your shift OT is more common for those that accept a 6 day per week work schedule Job Requirements: • Consistent attendance and ability to arrive to work on time daily • Must be able to stand up for 6 – 8 hours per day • Must be able to work on weekends (Saturday and Sunday availability) • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. independently • Must wear steel toed boots along with work pants daily (no sagging pants – please wear a belt) • Must wear PPE provided by RTW at all times during the workday This includes but is not limited to: Gloves Anti-Fog Goggles A Company issued Vest with RTW Logo and Badge Facemask • Must be able read, write and speak English • Must be able to take pictures with a cell phone and upload them daily to document service at each property • Must own a smart phone with mobile data to clock in and out for meal and rest periods in accordance with CA Law.
