Meet Bowie Stardust ! She is a 3 year old Australian Kelpie ( highly intelligent specifically bread working cattle dog) With the help of an experienced trainer and handler and previous education in fostering cattle dogs I took this Beauty on through cattle dog rescue. After lots of consistent work we have plateaued and Bowie has calmed and integrated into a functional state. She excels with children and being involved in a family setting that is made up of familiar and consistent presence of welcomed individuals identified within the imprinted group. Excellent recall with verbal command and reinforced with correction caller on vibration setting. Proximity awareness is solid but needs to be consistently reinforced. She is a working dog with all the behavior and breeding that comes with that. She requires an experienced handler. She will be protective of the imprinted group making her an excellent watch dog.
