WOONSOCKET, RI — A Woonsocket man was sentenced Monday to two years in federal prison for participating in a crack cocaine trafficking scheme in Cranston, Providence and Woonsocket. Bradley Dewalt, 30, was one of 18 men charged in the FBI's 2020 investigation, "Operation River Fork." Federal prosecutors said the arrests resulted in the recovery of six loaded firearms and more than a kilo of crack cocaine. On June 2, 2021, Dewalt pleaded guilty to distribution of crack cocaine. Dewalt admitted, at the direction of another person, he contacted a person to sell them 24.64 grams of crack cocaine for $1,150. Following Dewalt's prison sentence, he was ordered to serve two years of supervised release. Prior to his arrest in this matter, Dewalt was previously convicted and sentenced on assault, drug trafficking, and firearm charges.
