Description

I have a 1984 ford Ecoline3500 26ft {MMH} Mini motor home. with 31k original miles. The reason why I bought it. The previous owner gutted the bathroom and kitchen area out for a work bench and desk etc as a mobile office. My plan was to redo it with a composite toilet vs the tank type, Shower/bath tub area, remove everything propane and swap to solar. Remove the waste tank and add an additional clean water tank. But an illness prevented it. The place where its at has recently been sold and I have til august to figure it out. My plan was to eat the 2k I paid and junk it. She needs a lot of work. Ive done some to make it warmer but my skills in construction are severely lacking. I tried to install house hold cabinets, thinking what could go wrong? Didn't plan for all the stuff under the floor and had to cut the crap out of the cabinets to get it to work. I won that battle! and I put a new counter top on it. Didn't get to a sink yet. I have a foot pump one. She presently doesn't run needs belts they are loud and needs a hose to the gas tank, because prev owner didn't bother with clamps and he used a radiator hose. They also monkeyed with the wiring but the outlets all work when plugged in to the main house power supply. The lights did work but kept blowing the fuse. I put up low watt led lights. She has the inverter but no generator. But this week I do need to get her running to get it in position for an easy tow out. Some friends and colleagues told me I should just give it to someone whom can use it and has skills to fix her back up. People have jobs but can't afford a place to live here, and lots of folks are turning to a van life type deal to survive. she needs belts hoses fluids, A new passenger seat, tires,a tail lamp toilet {cause trust me you don't want mine} The tires were around $900.00 for all 6. the motor parts about 200.00 and the seat 200 up depending on type. I personally will not be spending anymore on it because im junking it. If someone wants this thing, you must have a valid license and mailing address to send the title too. I will be bring you to the DMV office personally to get her done so I can get a release of interest on the thing at the same time, no its, buts, or whats, its my way, or the highway. Don't be a shady criminal bullschitt artist. I can smell you a mile away. I won't even respond if it smells funny. She can be free to a good loving home and made into a more comfortable one too. I recently bought a new camping rig/truck I can drive and park at my place. This I can't park anywhere. Also she was built in Canada and has the maple leaf on back. Once I clean her out I will get pictures will be there later this week to do that. I'm in no hurry emails only for now. I would get paid a couple of hundred by a salvage company but if you want it its free as is. To me loosing a couple hundred to keep you off the street is better. Already lost 2k plus the stuff I did do. Also people have asked would it be possible to work on it where its parked til near the deadline. Depending on your character and trust worthiness and not a criminal from hell? yes its very possible. I can teach you how to fix it or what to do. I have a degree from 1985 for mechanics but haven't worked in the field since early 90s But I built these motors in school. Big block 460 she has a tow hitch too. Very easy to fix with out all the Tupperware crap in today's cars. I also will be in need of a helper to help clean out my mothers house where its parked. I'll be paying someone 25 bucks an hr to help clean out 70 yrs of hoarding stuff. Most will go to dump, some will be sold for its value, the other children will take something I hope. So good time for some one to make the money to fix it with my help if your female or something plus any of the stuff we toss you can take to fix the inside with or whatever. This can be an opportunity for you to get a place to stay that safe and warm you can drive around, but also an asset you can sell or re-home at the later date. Send me an email tell me your story, who knows in 2 months you can be driving your home to a new destination. Tabbed legal and yours.
