Cultivation Associate • General interest in Cannabis is required. Production of Cannabis is an extremely involved process and Cultivation Associates will be expected to perform with integrity and respect for cleanliness of the facility and quality of its products. • Must be willing to perform laborious tasks in a warm, humid, and high light environment for long periods of time. Working on a scissor lift will also be required. • Cleanliness is expected at all times including proper utilization of provided sanitation apparel. • General tasks may include but are not limited to cutting clones, transplanting, pruning, trellising, setup and takedown of each growth cycle, hanging and bucking branches to dry, sterilization of tools, nutrient mixing. Scouting for plant health and production issues is expected at all times. Must always maintain a tidy work environment, putting away tools and cleaning up waste generated. • Cultivation associates are directed by the Cultivation Supervisor, Propagation Supervisor, Facilities Manager, or Post-harvest Supervisor to carry out the cultivation plan. All Associates will be expected to be flexible in performing tasks in all divisions of production. • Must work well within a team. • Must be 21 years of age and have reliable transportation. Must live within 45 minutes of facility located in Sacramento, CA. Transportation to and from facility will never be considered excusable for absence or tardiness. • Hourly wage ranging between $18-22/hr depending on qualifications. No option for higher than $18/hr starting wage without horticultural or facilities maintenance experience. • Opportunities to advance into supervisory roles for Propagation, Facilities, and Post-Harvest. Positions begin in June. Seeking several ambitious candidates interested in scientifically grounded production of Cannabis in a brand-new state of the art facility.
