Jorgensen Company is looking for a hard-working, hands on individual that wants to learn a trade in the Fire Protection industry located in the greater Sacramento area. The right candidate will be trained on how to inspect and repair Fire Extinguishers and Fire Suppression Systems. You will also be trained in various aspects of our business. Minimum Qualifications: Must be mechanically inclined Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, perform quality work with minimal supervision. Maintain a clean safe work environment. Must be a fast learner Must be able to pass pre-employment exams and clearance testing Must be able to work varied hours Must be able to work while on a ladder Must have excellent verbal and written communication Must be reliable and responsible Must possess a California Driver’s license with a driving record that is acceptable to our insurance company. Must be able to take and pass the Office of the State Fire Marshall test for Fire Extinguisher Service In accordance with California Health and safety Code and Regulations Title 19 within 6 months from start date of employment. Must drive with the upmost courtesy and respect for others. Other duties as assigned. Jorgensen Company has been in the business of Fire Protection for 90 years.
