Cleaning Company is seeking a on call/substitute porter for an apartment complex located in Baltimore, Maryland. This is the ideal position for a person who is currently on disability and can not work fulltime, or for someone that does not want to work a fulltime job, and does not mind working on a as needed basis. This apartment complex consist of townhomes only so there are no buildings to clean only the grounds of the property and the management office. We would only need this person when the current porter calls out sick, goes on vacation, or the property is asking for a additional person to come and help clean the property when needed. When the work is available what is expected is that the person will be responsible for cleaning the rental office first thing in the morning at arrival at 8am when the office opens and then cleaning the grounds. There are no apartment buildings to clean so the cleaning is only on the outside which consist of removing debris that is visible on the grounds and around the dumpsters. In the management office you will be responsible for vacuum, empty trash receptacles, replace lining of trash cans, use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces. Mix various cleaning agents. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Dust and scrub surfaces clean. The right candidate must have exceptional customer service and must be honest and trustworthy.
