Executive Director, Erica Koegel, said, "This year, we celebrated our one-of-kind All-Star Teachers! From an MVP Breakfast bar to concession stand snacks, it was great to see everyone get involved, from the children, parents, and the leadership team, in showing thanks to our teachers. Throughout the week, teachers were given handwritten fan mail, energy boosts, flowers, a special World Series Lunch, Concession treats, and a night out for some team bonding!" In addition to donating items, kind gestures, and many gifts to make this week special for our teachers, our families sponsored an excursion to Bowlero, where our teachers showed us who are the real MVPs on the bowling lanes! Our parents showed an incredible outpouring of support, and we were beyond grateful for all they did. With Mother's Day on Sunday, May 8, students created flowerpots and handmade cards and shared what they loved most about each of these special women in their lives! Selvei Rajkumar, Managing Director, set up a Mother's Day Photo Booth at each location. Mothers were invited to stop and take a special photo with their children throughout the week. In the Reggio Emilia Approach, parents are considered the first teacher; therefore, the KLA Team also celebrated Parent Appreciation on Friday, May 13, with various delicious breakfast items to take on the go! One parent from the Naperville location mentioned, "I had to go into the office today, so I thoroughly enjoyed devouring the delicious chocolate muffin during the commute!'
