LT junior makes LT fishing history, nets big bass

Congratulations to Lyons Township High School junior Patrick Monahan, of Indian Head Park, who recently made LT history at the IHSA State Bass Championship at Carlyle Reservoir, in Carlyle, IL, just east of St. Louis. Monahan received a call up, competed in the tournament and did not disappoint. He finished in 12th place overall going solo out of 79 boats. One of his fish caught was 2nd in the Big Bass Category weighing 3lbs 1oz. In total, Monahan finished with two fish at 4lb 9oz.
