Miller Fence is one of the oldest and largest fence installation companies in central Mass. We are currently looking for a new team member to join our shop. The right candidate will thrive in a fast pace environment and be able to shift from one task to another. We are looking for someone to help with the receiving of deliveries using a fork lift. They will also be picking and pulling vinyl and chainlink jobs using a picklist. Some driving to and from jobsites with material may also be required with company truck. Lastly, they will help with the fabrication of wood panels/posts using premade jigs and nail guns. We are anticipating a 25 hour week including Saturdays. Saturday shift is 8a-1p. Any other 4 days, M-F (you can pick the other day off), are flexible start/end times. Responsibilities and Duties Unloading delivery trucks Fabrication of wood fence panels material delivery loading customer's material keeping shop and yard clean palletizing material for upcoming jobs assisting in miscellaneous duties that may arise Requirements Basic knowledge of hand and power tools (Nail guns, tape measure, grinder, chop saw, sawzall, skill saw, etc.) forklift experience a plus Strong organizational ability Must be a self starter ability to lift 50-100 lbs continuously Driver's license (no exceptions) Willingness to learn all aspects of the shop
