We currently have an opening in our Maintenance Department as a Detail Technician. Inspect property, pick up trash and debris, animal waste, and reports any safety hazards or repair needs to Maintenance Supervisor. Sweep parking lot areas, walkways, entryways, and hallways. Wash down courtyards and other cement areas. May have to sweep and pick-up sand and gravel with shovel and wheelbarrow. Ensure model tour route is free of debris. Operate leaf blower or parking lot vacuum to ensure that the property is free of debris. Ensure external light fixtures are in working order. Cleans lights and globes in common areas. Move/clean trash dumpsters and surrounding areas. Empty trash cans around the common grounds of property. Assist with removal of furniture, appliances and debris form vacated apartments to dumpster or storage. Assist with pond, fountain and/or pool cleaning and maintenance. Assist in moving appliances, heat pumps, planters, garbage cans and supplies as needed. Visually inspect sprinkler heads and report any damage to Maintenance Supervisor. Move concrete parking stops back into place if required. Wipe down mailboxes, handrails and signs. Assist with cleaning of vacant units for move-ins when needed. Unload truck when supplies are delivered, and stock in proper areas. Clean pool area to include chairs, tables, and umbrellas. Clean/sweep tennis courts if applicable. Lock/unlock common areas as directed. Clean/sweep rooftops and clean out gutters. The employee may also paint trim common areas, curbs or other areas that are required. Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to maintain inventory of supplies required to perform job. Complete light maintenance duties as needed or requested.
