Wheelchair and Durable Medical Equipment Service Technician

Qualifications:

Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record
Lift 40lbs, occasionally up to 75lbs., push and pull up to 100 lbs.
Basic Computer and Smart Phone Skills
Operate Basic Hand Power Tools
Basic Mechanical Aptitude
Willing to Attend Training Courses (Travel)
High School diploma/GED

Work hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, occasional over-time/Saturday.
Primary job function: Diagnose, maintain and repair power wheelchairs/scooters, manual wheelchairs and associated Durable Medical Equipment (DME). These services may be performed in private homes, facilities, as well as on-site. Other duties may include, delivery and pick-up of medical equipment, writing work orders, utilizing applications (apps), demonstrating and instructing patients/families on how to use medical equipment as well has processing associated paperwork. Perform vehicle maintenance checks.
Must be 18 years of age, pass a background, drug screen and DMV check.
