Bruno was bound for the shelter last Friday before we decided to pick him up. The family he came from could not care for him any longer. He was purchased from a breeder at 8 weeks old during the height of Covid. No papers. This boy is good with other dogs, he has done well at the dog park per the previous owners. He’s also used to kids as the family had three. He’s scared of my cat. Up to date on all his vaccinations. He’s even had a Covid shot! He takes oral flea meds and is current on his rabies vaccine with the certificate. He is NOT neutered. We can not keep housing him much longer. We live in a townhouse (rented) and he’s not allowed here. Also, my 35lb beagle mix is highly stressed out and wants to tear into him. Bruno has been pretty nonreactive though. He’s done well in his crate with us and is house broken. He does pretty well on a leash and knows some basic commands. I have contacted many rescues and every one is full and beyond capacity. My intention is to hopefully get lucky and place him with one or at least find a better situation than what he was facing. Unfortunately Craigslist is a last resort. He’s a very sweet dog.
