The Cascade Highlanders Pipe Band is looking for one or two dedicated snare drummers. Basic snare experience is preferred and the band has Scottish snare drums to use. The practice pads and sticks are different and are recommended for learning properly, and outlay for them should run less than $50.00. And yes, you do wear a kilt ! Members also purchase most of their uniform, which runs around $100.00. This is a volunteer effort so our band members play for the love of it and our earnings go towards equipment and supplies.
