A fabulous opportunity for someone seeking part time work with some scheduling flexibility. No experience necessary. Provide companionship and care for an amazing 33-year-old woman who is very kind and easy to be with for 8-12 hours per week, two to three days a week, four to five hour shifts on average, with some consistency and flexibility available. Claire needs prompts and assistance to maintain routine and work towards established goals. She needs companionship and encouragement to maintain self-care. Claire is mobile and able to do tasks independently with prompts and some assistance. Responsibilities include: - Provide prompts and support for daily living including cleaning, working out, taking walks, grooming, and eating. - Actively engage Claire through conversation and companionship - Help with meal planning and preparation, including making grocery lists and shopping (incl. farmers markets when available) - Help Claire with completing her physical therapy exercises - Assist with scheduling and provide transportation to and from medical, dental, therapy appointments Ideal candidates will: - Be dependable and able to show when scheduled - Be comfortable around dogs as Claire has an emotional support dog (older pomeranian with no teeth). - Be comfortable around lgbtqia identified individuals - Possess a valid Colorado driver’s license and insured vehicle - Be able to pass a background check (required for registration as a Colorado Access Caregiver)
