Landscaper here, i need a pond to rent for my 10 geese. Monthly cash payments, plus free limited landscaping service for duration of “occupancy.” Pros: •They will not damage land or soil quality •They need no food provided some or pasture •No predator protection, provided the pond is big enough •No weather protection, provided there is a tree for shade and a pond to swim in. Like penguins in winter. •”Free”money every month •Privacy- i could leave them for months and they’ll be fine. No need for me to come by to do anything. •Keep Canada geese away with domesticated geese Cons: •Will poop on concrete •Do make noise. Nothing crazy, but houses very near the water, not advised •Some may Hiss during breeding season, march to may •locals may encroach and steal livestock for holidays, Visible ponds not advised I am desperate at this point, as coyotes have devastated my flock and i simply do not have the property for them. We can start with a trial week, i have a kayak to retrieve them easily, and they are trained to come running to the sound of a specific gong i have. And again, i would be more than happy to provide free landscaping services as well. Also, 50% of all eggs or offspring would be yours to do with as you please. If you have a farm pond and this sounds like something you may like to try out, i would be beyond grateful after years of passively trying to find them a pond with grass.
