Hello, I have a dog named Banjo in search of a loving home. When I tell you this dog is nearly perfect, I mean it. He is about 5-6 years old and I got him from Young-Williams Animal Shelter in June 2020. My work and life schedule have changed drastically and he is lonely. He loves to be around other animals and people. He is house trained and never has had an accident in the house. He typically waits for permission before coming into the house. He waits for permission to get on any furniture and he’s not been typically allowed on the furniture unless he’s laying in my lap. He has been trained on an electric fence and does not run away from home. He can be brought anywhere and will come at the call of his name. He does not need a fence and has never bitten anyone. He has been around my young niece and nephew for years (my neighbors) and their dog Carly and loves to play. He did have heart worms when I got him but he was treated and is totally fine. He takes a pill about every 4-6 weeks and has never once fought me. He eats it immediately and actually enjoys it. He truly is the perfect dog. He’s used to being outside but does love to come inside but does not scratch at doors or damage things. He doesn’t dig and he doesn’t bark often. I would love for him to be with a family who can spend more time with him. I don’t want to get rid of him, but I know he needs more attention. A small rehoming fee may apply to make sure he goes to someone who is serious about taking care of him. I have all of his paperwork and am willing for you to come meet him.
