Seeking drummer who is into the likes of Radiohead, Glass Animals, and anything that can balance between rock and roll and electronic. Also into shoe gaze, funk, soul, etc. Someone who understands syncopation. Someone who has the patience to really make something special. Someone who is at least of drinking age... and any age up from there doesn't matter so long as: You're not tied own and unable to tour. You're more motivated by art and music than money and acquirement. You do not use any hard drugs, and if you have in the past you've been clean for at least 3 years. You don't want to play rock star, but rather become a successful musician in a successful band through actual hard work, practice, and repetition. Our project has been writing and re-writing and doing demos for nearly five years. Now we are ready to bring the live element into our project. You WOULD be drumming ALONG WITH/syncopated to, (But not copying), programmed drums for most songs. All songs require you be EXCELLENT at using a metronome. You should be able to learn all songs and rehearse at home, and preferably have a way to lay down ideas for the songs as you listen to them. After you've learned all the songs and we have a good starting point for the parts, then we would get together 2x per week on normal weeks, and more often right before a gig or tour or studio session. Masterplan: Make solid recordings of nearly two dozen songs, shop them around... while simultaneously releasing a couple songs from said recordings and doing a regional tour. Thereafter, we would book some showcases to try to get a proper advance on a studio album. If you don't dream big and work hard, you're going to end up settling. We are a group of people who will NOT end up settling.
