Splash and Dash Groomerie & Boutique is a full service salon that offers retail, grooming and membership based grooming and bathing services. We are looking for a Pet Stylist to join our team! A Splash and Dash Pet Stylist is a fun, energetic and talented groomer who is willing to be part of a team. We believe it is our duty to safely and professionally care for the well-being of all pets entrusted to us. Our goal is to offer a pet store that meets the needs of our customers and their pets. We pride ourselves in a clean and comfortable environment in which our salon team can thrive. As a Pet Stylist/Groomer, you will ensure pets looks and feel their best. We want you to provide grooming services that enhance the lives of the pets and their owners. A Pet Stylist/Groomer willingly: *Interacts professionally and effectively with a team members in the best interest of the company *Uses their knowledge and ability to correctly identify breeds, coat types, tools and techniques to perform all hair cut styles and finish work regardless of blade length on all breeds of dogs *Assists in the bathing department when needed *Assists with training grooming assistants and bathers *Ensures the safety and well-being of each pet in our care *Follows all Splash and Dash salon quality standards *Follows the owner's instructions when clipping or trimming an animal's coat *Makes recommendations for styles, maintenance and products *Move animals and merchandise up to 30 pounds *Records necessary information in the computer program *Completes daily, weekly and monthly cleaning The idea candidate will have: *A passion for animal welfare *Knowledge of the grooming industry *A MINIMUM of ONE YEAR experience GROOMING pets (in a professional environment) Qualified candidates will be contacted for an interview.
