I put an ad out a while ago and met some nice people, but then I kind of crawled back in to my recorder doing what I've always done. Making complete songs on my own. Then a long time lapsed since I communicated with any of them. What am I looking for? I don't know. Nothing pigeonholed or traditional in any sense. I write, sing, and play a lot of instruments, and like to fiddle around with effects and other odd sounds. Always been more of a recording artist than a live artist. While playing live is fun and all, which I have done plenty, my true passion is making songs and utilizing a wide variety of sounds. So I guess I'm looking for other outside the box people with an equally vast musical palette to collaborate with. Again, not looking to start a band in the traditional sense, at least not yet. Looking for people who might be interested in doing more than just that. Collaborating in music sure, but also photography, making videos, promotion, social media, etc... I'd rather form an entourage of people to increase an online presence, than try to form another band and grind it out in the local bar scene. For example, I play bass, so I don't really need a bassist, but if you're a versatile bassist that's also good at social media, let's talk and make some weird music. So it's cool if you do something I already do, but I'm looking for people who wear hats I don't already wear, so please bring something different to the table as well. Would really like working with a female singer/songwriter or a rapper, those are things I can't do musically. Or I don't care if you don't even play anything or sing, if you can make videos or know how to promote or increase social media or are an artist or photographer or can make websites or something, let's talk. Let's make a musical/artistic/internet collective with no real limits. I'm open to ideas and suggestions, or to help you work on something if you need help. Here I am, hit me up.
