I'm a baritone/second tenor looking for a bass and first tenor to sing sea chanteys and other folk tunes a cappella, busker style, in the South Street Seaport. No need to be a seasoned performer; I will help you get up to speed lickety split. I've written an immersive street theater piece that I'm looking to stage there this summer; this gig is mainly to promote the show and to "warm the space" – meet and greet area merchants who can help promote the show. Repertoire will be just 6 or 7 songs, and we will work out the arrangements together. If we love singing together, and have the availability, we could develop this into a regular busking gig in other locations as well. TikTok's "Wellerman" has turned the world on again to chanteys, and we will get a warm reception, I'm sure!
