Summary Under the supervision of the Supply Chain Manager, Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Lead, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, shipping and storing material, supplies and equipment in any of the Hastings warehouse locations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. • Perform all shipping & receiving for incoming and outgoing products/parts/equipment. • Schedule LTL pickups and fulfill orders. • Verify materials received against purchase orders. Verify quantity match to packing slips. • Transport materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas using a forklift or hand truck. • Maintain Warehouse; ensure neat and orderly storage of material. • Use Panatracker (handheld inventory tracking system). • Use Shipping/Receiving software (UPS Worldship, FedEx Ship Manager, etc). • Maintain inventory records on computer system. • Notify supervisor of low inventory supply or other abnormalities. • Periodically, take inventory of material, equipment and supplies in storage as assigned. (Cycle counts) • Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures. • Wear proper safety equipment. Education and/or Experience • High school education or equivalent • One to three years relevant experience.
