Warehouse Picker/Packer/Shipper Working for a fast pace Uninterruptible Power Supply company. THIS POSITION IS A TEMPORARY/CONTRACT POSITION Job Summary This position of the warehouse worker is responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the shipping and receiving, handling, palletizing, recharging of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion. Accurately selects items from specific warehouse locations to fill customer orders Replenishes pick locations with product inventory Efficiently pack boxes and shrink wrap pallets for customers’ orders Unpack and recharge UPS Battery back-up units. Help with organizing warehouse Safely operate various warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and move product Help with various projects of removing batteries and recycling them. Perform other duties as assigned by Management Requirements Must be able to lift/move up to 100+ pounds. Fork lift experience is a must, current fork lift certification is better Ability to operate machinery Seeking motivated, hands-on type of personality. Must be able to pass a drug and background test General knowledge of warehouse procedures and ability to operate material handling equipment in a safe manner. Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to aid day to day duties Must be able to multi-task at a fast pace with attention to detail This is a full time position. Compensation is $16-17/hr depending on experience with benefits and health insurance.
