Volunteers to organize free, weekly, running and walking event

Parkrun (www.parkrun.com) events are free, weekly, timed 5k run and walks. Our aim is make the world happier and healthier and we do this by giving people a tool to get outside and be more physically and socially active. Our events have benefitted millions worldwide, and it can change your life and those of your city! Parkrun will soon be launching a parkrun in Eugene, and we are seeking volunteers to host the weekly event. Positions we are looking for: - Event Director - Course marshals - Timer/ Register volunteers - On the day helpers (all training given morning of) Get in touch if you are looking for a meaningful way to get involved in your community, make new friends, and gain very rewarding and worthwhile experiences!
