Description
This is Baby!
He is a 4 month old Irishdoodle puppy. I am a Service Dog trainer and Baby was from my last litter of Service Dog prospects. I have been training him for a client to become a Psychiatric Service Dog, and his training has been going great! Unfortunately, his handler-to-be is unable to continue working with him due to medical reasons, so I am now looking to place him with a new family.
He is on a great potty schedule (sleeps through the night)
He is crate trained.
We are working on his loose leash walking skills and ability to rest quietly in public environments.
Service Dogs in Training receive amazing socialization and engagement training. He has been exposed to kids, older adults, disabled individuals, busy traffic, airports, livestock and wildlife, water, and lots more.
His Service Dog task training has started, he is being training to detect Cortisol (stress hormone) in humans and alert to it.
Baby is energetic (as most puppies are) and very food + praise motivated. He is VERY CUDDLY! And will love a family who also enjoys hugs, snuggles, and kisses on a daily basis.
He is used to problem solving and working, so he will do best with a person or family that can provide plenty of physical and mental enrichment.
Baby is 4 months old, fully vaccinated, clean bill of health and comes from a line of Service Dogs that are all in good health and great temperament.
I think Baby would still be a wonderful Service Dog and I would love to continue his training with another family, or just see him go to a good home as a happy pet dog. If you are interested in getting some more info, please contact me via phone or email.
