Description
We are looking for a forever home for our female iguana who is between 7 and 8 years old we have had her since she was a baby from PetSmart and grew up together with a male blue iguana who was purchased at the same time they both are very compatible we have been able to raise three clutches of babies that were not expected at first and she lays between 30 and 40 eggs when she has laid them unfortunately it is very hard to keep these two away from each other and it breaks my heart every time we hatch the babies and have to find homes for them again iguanas are beautiful creatures and have quirky personalities and I just cannot keep going forward and allowing them to continue to mate anytime they get together she currently is roughly 41 in Long and comes with her cage that has a 60 watt ceramic heater and two UV 24-in bulbs, the enclosure measures 62 and 1/2 in tall 33 in wide and 21 in deep the enclosure has coved vinyl with metal trim around to ensure it is easy for cleanup messes, the condition is in great shape with no delamination it was a portable clothes hanger cabinet and was converted but very well done. She usually gets out the cage and will go up on top and keep warm from the heat emitters heat that is inside the cage it also has a timer and a bottom drawer to store supplies also in the posting is a picture of her and her mate but we are only rehoming her it is not what we were hoping for but only way to ensure that we do not have to take on responsibilities of hatching babies and finding good homes for, she has just fattened up from having a clutch about 5 months ago so if you are looking to breed her she will definitely need a year to fatten and healthy up again she is a little finicky with attention sometimes she will open her mouth but usually when you get her out and hold her she is fine and just wants to climb on your shoulders, due to probably being mated that is why she does not care for her neck to be rubbed other than that she is a sweetheart and has the biggest pretty eyes please be knowledgeable of iguanas and their care with UV lighting and special diets thank you for your time sorry such a long posting any questions or better pictures just message us back thank you and have a blessed day Mel! We are asking for a $240 rehoming fee for all, please only serious inquiries.
