You will learn / be cross-trained on procedures and processes associated with the transferring of material from railcar (hopper car) to silo as you will be responsible for daily operation on rail car movement. Including but not limited to preparing rail cars; setting up spacers, and plugging in reefers. Receive instructions on which tracks assigned and the tasks to be performed. Constant communication flow between rail crew and locomotive driver, all following instructed safety procedures following OSHA standards. You may also inspect couplings and air hoses. Must be able to lift and carry 𝗠𝗮𝘅 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘁: 𝟱𝟬 𝗹𝗯𝘀.. to move materials, supplies and/or equipment.
