Bass - easily bored and losing hope

Bass player in my 40s. Previous career as a studio musician and orchestra player. I have Absolute Pitch (AP) and can hop into your chord changes easily. Honestly I get bored easily with narrow focus bands. Looking for other musicians who are on the edge of hope in finding a band to get together and play without restrictions on style and scope. Most of my work has been in prog/funk/jazz/fusion/standard rock and classical influenced stuff. I have been in a number of cover situations as well, since it allows for a wide range of selections. Not really into it for the money anymore. Just want access to good flexible players who can pick things up quickly and run. Ultimately some kind of standing jam with the occasional gig out, covers or originals does not matter, would be ideal.
