Hi, my name is Sherri and I'm fundraising (https://gofund.me/16215842) and I to get our forever home. We lost everything to a fire on November 9, 2020 and have been living in a 5th wheel camper since. Although I had homeowners insurance and did what was required for the insurance company to provide financial assistance to rebuild yet they dragged their feet and disputed receipts then ultimately declined to pay out or reimburse me for what I've paid out of pocket. I spent my savings, sold most of my belongings and borrowed from my 401k for the funds to build us a new home, just to be denied by Western Iowa Mutual Insurance. I was recently given the opportunity to purchase my kids' great grandmother's home for half of what it's worth so they can keep it in the family and one day I can pass it on to my children. My boy is 5 and my daughter is 7 and they have kept smiles on their faces despite this horrible event and the drastic change in our living situation. I'm asking for help in raising $10,000 to finish purchasing this beautiful move in ready home for us. Thoughts and prayers would also be appreciated, we thank you from the bottoms of our hearts.
