NW Employment Solutions is working with a local client based out of Milwaukie, OR. They are in need of a technician who has experience working with small engines. Mon-Fri 8am-6pm and Sat 9am-2pm 1 hour break each day except Saturday We are searching for a technician with experience in 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines. It will primarily include handheld outdoor power equipment and lawnmowers. You must have your own basic set of tools necessary to complete work on various equipment. Have basic knowledge for engines to run effectively. Although prior experience will be necessary in some areas, training on the job will be supplied. The client furnishes our shops with lift benches and many of the specialty tools required to complete work. Primary Duties include but are not limited to: *Diagnose and repair multiple brands of 2-stroke engines on handheld equipment. *Diagnose and repair multiple brands of 4-stroke engines on equipment. *Interpret Part Schematics. *Utilize part look-up tools accurately. *Record work order entries on a computer system. Other required skills *Attention to detail. *Highly organized. *Participation in supplier training opportunities. *Teamwork skills. *Open availability to weekends and potentially seasonal overtime.
