Rehoming a 4 year old Briard

We have had Teddy since he was 8 weeks old. He was raised along side an adult German Shepherd and an indoor cat. Now 4 yrs old, he is a loving dog who loves his belly rubs. He is great with family, but can be territorial to strangers on first contact. We are looking for a family that can give him the exercise and space to run that he needs. Teddy comes from a line of championship herding dogs, so he needs space to roam and would benefit from being the only dog in the household with grown kids or no kids at all in the household. He has been professionally trained and listens to commands such as, heel, sit, stay, and place. We just had a newborn and cannot properly give him the environment that he needs. All vaccinations are up to date. Teddy would make any family extremely happy as long as they can provide the right environment for him. Free to a good home. Will provide crate.
