Property Management company hiring full time EXPERIENCED BUILDING PORTERS with PAINTING & LIGHT MAINTENANCE SKILLS for new high rise luxury apartment building. Our company has decades of designing, building, leasing, managing modern high rise luxury residential projects. Multiple projects underway, more coming, long term employment & skill development opportunity. **Great Pay for Great Skills & Experience** PORTER-PAINTER DUTIES & SKILLS : --Assist Maintenance Technicians with apartment, common area maintenance & repairs w/ small hand & power tools -- we’ll teach you how to do more. --Operate trash compactor equipment & dumpsters to collect, move trash to loading dock --Prepare walls & ceilings, paint apartments and common areas. --Assist housekeeping staff with building cleaning duties. --Unload & move heavy materials & equipment around the building. --Winter snow & ice removal from exterior areas. --Emergency service rotation duty for evening, weekend repairs at building as needed. REQUIREMENTS FOR EMPLOYMENT: • 5 or more years previous full time employment as Porter-Painter in large, modern residential or commercial buildings of 100 or more apartments / offices. • MUST live in, or within short commute to Jersey City / Hoboken NJ. • US citizen OR green card; social security card; drivers license OR state ID; bank account. • Physically able to perform full time heavy labor tasks. • Speak English; Spanish also helpful.
