Caspian is a beautiful one year old cat that needs to be in a home that will allow him to be indoor and outdoor. He is fixed, UTD on shots and he’s huge! He’s not fat at all, he is just a very tall, long and huge pawed cat. His paws make him look like some exotic wild cat, but he’s just a tabby. He’s extremely friendly, calm and loves to follow you around like a dog. He’s not extremely cuddly, but he does like to be very close by you without being right on your lap. He will sit on the couch next to you all day and sleep while you pet him. He’ll occasionally let you put him in his lap, but he will likely scoot off and sit next to you. He doesn’t mind being carried around and loves being walked on a harness and leash. He was born outdoors and we got him when he was about 3 months. Although he is very tame and sweet, he will do anything to escape outside. We are in a heavily wooded area full of coyotes, and right off an extremely busy road. He will always come back usually the same or next day, but it puts me in a constant state of panic. I know some people are fine with their cats outdoors or have nice patios and stuff for their cats to go out on, but I just can’t keep trying to hunt for him all the time. It’s too much and he needs someone that is more laid back. You can change his name, but he does know Caspian and will come to it. We have one other cat and one dog and he cuddles with them. He doesn’t love toddlers, but he really loves my bigger kids (ages 6 and up).He’s not shy and very much loves to be a part of the crowd if you have a party or get together. He’s a cool cat! He just needs someone that can let him explore or knows how to work with those escape games he pulls. I’ve never experienced an animal dart past me so quickly when they see a door crack open. Some people don’t care… and those are the people he would do best with.
