Hydrangea Happiness Celebration and Presentation - afternoon session
Mal Condon, the Curator of Hydrangeas at Heritage Museums & Gardens, will present "The Nurturing Magic of Hydrangeas"
Hydrangea arrangements, watercolor paintings and decoupage oyster shells will be showcased at this event. Our very own hydrangea social media backdrop, designed by the Duxbury Student Union, will also be on display for photo opportunities.

Introducing Mal Condon ...A lifelong gardener, Mal Condon has been collecting, propagating and growing hydrangeas for more than 40 years. An engineer by trade, he is strongly committed to the continuing development of the genus. Mal is always searching for new and superior plants, evaluating their landscape performance and finding improved ways for them to grow.
Mal's Hydrangea Farm Nursery on Nantucket was a specialized nursery featuring one of the largest hydrangea collections in the Northeast. In 2014 Mal relocated to Cape Cod, where he continues foster his passion with a significant signature garden. He frequently shares his many hydrangea learning with garden clubs, horticultural associations and plan societies in the USA and other locations world-wide.
Mal is currently the Curator of Hydrangeas at the Heritage Museums & Gardens in Sandwich, Massachusetts and completely involved with the continuing expansion of the garden's significant collection, including the North American Hydrangea Test Garden and the Cape Cod Hydrangea Society's Display Garden.
