New Clay Sculpture Class offered

Earthworks Pottery at 228 S Pollard St. in Vinton is offering a NEW clay class: Sculpture Class by Carlos Dowling Carlos, a Bermuda native, has spent his life using his talent to create, educate and instruct others in the arts from Bermuda to England to New York City and now Roanoke. Any subject can be chosen by the student to sculpt. It may be a person, animal, or object. Through demos and one on one instruction by Carlos each student will be encouraged and taught how to create their own finished sculpture. Don’t be hesitant - with the help of Carlos, you will enter a clay journey of discovery. All levels of skill are accepted. The class begins on Saturday, May 28 and will run for 8 consecutive Saturdays, 1:30-4:00 pm. There will be a maximum of only 6 students.
