Get Your Walking Shoes Ready! The 5th Annual Walk-A-Thon benefiting Children of Ukraine is coming soon! The 5th Annual Walk-A-Thon presented by Camerata Men’s Choir and Youth Orchestra is coming soon! All proceeds from this year’s event will go to Ukraine-based aid organization Voices of Children that provides psychological support to children who have witnessed war and provides financial support to families who have suffered as a result of war. Together, we can protect children in crisis.Your support will make a difference! FINISH, FOOD, AND FUNThere will be a refreshments table with water, Gatorade, delicious BBQ and more. Drinks will be available to walkers as they complete each lap. There will be music and kid-friendly activities including face painting, slime, cardio booth and message board booth during the walk. Enjoy great nature, barbeque and fun with your friends! ROUTEThe walk route is a mostly flat stroll nestled in the serene and nature-rich urban camp. The route consists of a two-mile loop that walkers are welcome to complete as many laps as they feel comfortable. The route is safe with no cars and suitable for walkers of all ages and abilities. PARKINGFree parking is available in several grass parking areas on the way to the Pavillion. Head-in Parking ONLY! Please see the route map for parking information. [email protected] Alpine Scout Camp - Google Map Directions to Camp By Car from New York City: Travel to the George Washington Bridge taking the upper level. Take your first exit on your right in New Jersey (Palisades Pkwy. North). Travel for about 9 miles to exit 2 - Alpine approach road. Follow the exit around under the Pkwy. to a traffic light (this will be Route 9W). Make a right hand turn and travel north for about 1-1/4 miles. Alpine Scout Camp will be on your left hand side. By Car from New Jersey: From southern or mid-New Jersey, you can take either the New Jersey Turnpike or Garden State Pkwy. to Inter State 80. Travel on 80 to the last exit before the George Washington Bridge toll (this will be in Fort Lee). The exit will say Route 9 and Palisades Pkwy. You may than take either Route 9W for 10 miles to Camp Alpine (it will be on your left), or get on to the Palisades Pkwy. and travel for about 9 miles to exit 2 - Alpine approach road. Follow the exit around under the Pkwy. to a traffic light (this will be Route 9W). Make a right hand turn and travel north for about 1-1/4 miles. Alpine Scout Camp will be on your left hand side
