Drop by The Epicurean Trader, San Francisco's best spirits store, from 2-3pm to meet Bryan Cranston & Aron Paul, have a bottle of their prized mezcal signed along with a photo opprtunity! Dos Hombres is made using espadin agave, the piñas from the plants are cooked in earthen pits to release their sugars before being crushed using a tahona wheel. After fermenting for seven to 10 days, Dos Hombres mezcal is distilled in copper stills. The mezcal is made in the village of San Luis del Rio, Oaxaca, by third-generation mezcal maker, Gregorio Velasco. “We love all things mezcal,” said Paul. “Love the process and the community behind this beautiful spirit. What sets Dos Hombres apart is the smoothness of the mezcal; we wanted to find one that everyone would love, even people that have never tried it before. Dos Hombres offers aromas of apples and espadin agave, along with mango and zapote fruit notes, a hint of wood, and a “discreet smoky finish”. Although bottles will be available at the event, it is highly recommended that you pre-purchase a bottle by buying a ticket (which includes a bottle) to avoid disappointment.
