Children ages 7-9 will discover the basics of bird-watching with Orange County's birding experts! Beginning Bird Camp is a nature day camp for ages 7-9 from July 5-8, 2022 (no camp on July 4). Camp meets 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary in Irvine. Campers will learn the basics of birding, types of birds, and birds of freshwater marshes. During the week, children will take daily walks, keep a nature journal, create nature art, and learn important bird topics taught by enthusiastic and experienced Audubon Naturalists.
