The purpose of Airman Leadership School is to learn fundamental skills that prepare cadets for a successful encampment and CAP experience. The purpose of the Airman Leadership School (ALS) is for cadets to develop new leadership skills, commit to a habit of regular exercise, and solidify their moral character. In addition, the ALS prepares Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Cadet Airmen for encampment. This is accomplished by immersion into the full challenges and opportunities of cadet life, under the auspices of CAPR 60-1, and Best Practices of CAPP 60-70. The attendees (Senior Member Mentors, cadet cadre, and cadet students) will need to complete the required forms with ALL signatures prior to deadlines mentioned in the Operations Plan . The forms listed on the linked Ops Plan are required to participate. Bring all original forms to the event. Anyone arriving without having a CAPF 60-81 (Jun 2019 version) will not be allowed to sign into the activity. This is non-refundable after 16 September 2022. Bring CAPF's 60-81, 160, 161, 163 to the event (162 if applicable) 2. ONLY BRING WHAT'S ON THE PACKING LIST. ONE LUGGAGE BAG SHOULD SUFFICE. What time do I pick up my cadet? The graduation ceremony begins promptly at 11:30. Please arrive around 11:00. Cadet students may leave following the graduation ceremony. Restroom facilities are limited. What if the event is cancelled? Please check your email daily for updates and communications. Be sure to include a parent email.
