We’re creating and maintaining an accepting space for BIPOC poets to talk their shihhh every 3rd Thursday at ALT Chicago! Hello Chicago!!! We are the Write It Down! Collective (est. 2020), a unique collective of dynamically talented individuals with a passion to develop a creatively explorative, encouraging and uplifting space centering BIPOC poets/writers. Join us every third Thursday as we partner with ALT Chicago to bring a consistent space for celebrating the BIPOC experience through the scope of poetry!! * WE are looking for 10 poets each month to grace our stage with words brought to us through the power of their pen! Performers will have 5 mins each to present their piece(s).
