Join us for a chess tournament played over the board at our chess club in Garden Grove, California Full day of chess! We have 3-rounds for the day with time control (or game clock) at 85 minutes with 5-second delay for each side. (Beginner section has 4-rounds of Game 45 minutes with 5-second delay.) Entry fee: $30 by midnight Friday before day of tournament. ($40 for same day registration) Over-the-board chess tournament at the chess club at 5246 Lampson Ave. Garden Grove, CA 92845. Parking is free. Bring your own tournament-regulation chess sets and clock if available. Round 1 starts at 10 am. Subsequent rounds are approximately 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm (if rounds finish early, we can start the next rounds earlier.) (Beginner section will have the following round times 9:30 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 2:30 pm. If all the players finish the round early, the next game may be played earlier than the time indicated.)
