Join Akosia for a moment of presence and connection with the plant world. We'll be giving offering, plant identification, and giveaways! This is a plant identification walk -- we will be discussing ways you can use to accurately identify plants, playing plant bingo, winning prizes, giving offering and connecting to the Earth. In this walk, we will be exploring the plant life at the Lafayette Heritage Trail Park -- Indigenous Apalachee (Alachua) lands. What to expect: We’ll be doing an Earth meditation 🧘🏾‍♀️ Honoring the sacred and holy spirits of this land (North Florida/Alachua Apalachee lands) Intuitively exploring North Florida plant life 🌾 Identifying local medicinals, edibles, poisons invasive plants Learning how to categorize plants by botanical Family Playing plant ID bingo - AND winning prizes 😌!
