Story and Art Session , The Life of Basquiat Make memories and create a love for reading and art. We will have a fun and engaging story time and make & take art session. Long time educator, author and book store founder Claudia, will lead a kid friendly read aloud story time introducing kids to artist Jean-Michael Basquiat and his love for creating and sharing his art. After the reading , professional artist and art teacher Amber , will lead kids through making their very own board book while incorporating mixed media art inspired by Basquiat. Every registered child leaves with a copy of "The Life of Basquiat", and their very own hand made artistic book creation.
