Peace in the Wild, an outdoor recreation group for Black people, is going kayaking on the historic Chattahoochee River on May 29th, 2022! Please register both on Eventbrite + purchase tickets here: Chattahoochee Roswell: Out & Back Single Kayak RentalCost Includes: A kayak, paddle, a shuttle ride, and a personal flotation device (PFD). Arrival: Please arrive earlier than the scueduled time and meet in the parking lot. We will be starting promptly and taking a shuttle to the starting location. The kayaking company is unable to wait for late comers. Est. Kayaking Time: 2 Hours Parking: Free Food & Drinks: The NOC Outpost store offers t-shirts, snacks, sunblock, and other river essentials, but we strongly encourage you eat and prepare ahead of time. Bathrooms: The NOC has bathrooms on site. Weather: If weather is inclement, event will be rescuedled to ensure our members' safety.
