lost gold “beast” nameplate pendant

I was at Fort Funston around 1pm when I was walking up towards the hill along the right side of the fork in the road where the bench & trashcan are beneath some trees close to the path that leads down to the beach when I felt my gold necklace fall off my neck & onto the ground. I was on the right side closer to the fence post when this happened & while I was able to retrieve my chain, my nameplate pendant with the word “beast” in cursive was nowhere to be found. I retraced my steps through the dunes & back towards my car parked down by the intersection gate by lake merced— But no luck. There’s so much sand that I’m afraid it might be buried somewhere. Prior to Fort Funston, I was at Petco on Sloat & Petfood Express at Stonestown. It didn’t turn up at either spot. If anyone finds this piece, please reach out. It’s the only nice thing I own & have had it for 15 years so it means a whole lot. I really don’t have much, but I can offer some money to anyone who finds & returns this to me. Thanks
