#SambaChurch is a Brazil-meets-Oakland community movement class open to all levels. Live drumming with our own FunkyTime Players. #SambaChurch returns to the Malonga! Sundays from 3:45 - 5:30 pm Malonga Casquelourd Center for the Arts, 1428 Alice St, Oakland Multiple Levels - ADULTS Dance Class with Live African Brasilian Drums Please dance barefoot or wear non-marking shoes $17 / NO CASH ONSITE Drum Fund and Showing Our Drummers the Love Contributions for our drummers are encouraged! Water, healthy snacks, and drum fund donations. We love live music and the drums need to feel that love in the form of repairs. Please consider making a donation here.
