BRAINTREE, MA - A Braintree realtor is offering a sweet treat on Thursday afternoon to those who make donations to benefit the Braintree Food Pantry. Gerard Gray of LaMacchia Realty announced on Facebook that he has created an event called "Can for a CONE!" on Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at 222 Forbes Rd., Suite #100., "Ice Cream on Me!," the post read. "Join me to help the Braintree Food Pantry and bring canned goods and toiletries in exchange for an ice cream cone!" The ice cream and other frozen treats will be provided by Ellie's Treats. Pre-registration is required at this link on Eventbrite. The following items can be exchanged for an ice cream: Canned goods, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, soap, toothpaste, hairbrushes, combs The event will take place in the parking lot on the side of the office building, where the ice cream truck will be located.
